Michael Hallam marries into one of the richest and most powerful families in New York. Neither this nor running one of the largest companies in the big apple is enough for him. Bored with a life that few of us could only dream of, Hallam spends much of his time using his money, power and charm to predatorily lure countless women into bed. Unbeknown to him, and as a result of a single decision he makes, his life takes a significant turn for the worse.  Everything he has slips away at breakneck speed. The film reveals the fragility of life and how easily circumstances can conspire to make something that is solid rapidly melt away.  Whilst power and money corrupt, greed is self destructive, and Hallam finds this out with devastating consequences.
